Job Title: Grants and Fundraising Specialist (Intern)

Job Summary
CNSD seeks a highly motivated and resourceful Grants and Fundraising Specialist (Intern) to support the organization's resource mobilization efforts.
The intern will assist in identifying funding opportunities, conducting donor research, supporting proposal development, and strengthening partnerships that contribute to the sustainability and growth of CNSD's programs and initiatives.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking practical experience in grant writing, donor engagement, fundraising strategy, and international development programming.
Key Responsibilities
Research and track funding opportunities from bilateral, multilateral, philanthropic, corporate, and private donors.
Support the development and submission of grant proposals, concept notes, expressions of interest, and fundraising applications.
Assist in gathering organizational and project information required for proposal development.
Maintain and update donor databases and funding opportunity trackers.
Support partnership engagement with donors, foundations, corporate organizations, and development partners.
Assist in preparing fundraising materials, presentations, and organizational profiles.
Monitor donor priorities, funding trends, and emerging opportunities.
Support grant reporting and compliance activities where required.
Contribute to the development of resource mobilization strategies and initiatives.
Perform other duties related to fundraising, partnerships, and business development as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or final-year student in International Development, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Strong interest in fundraising, grant management, donor relations, and international development.
Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good understanding of proposal development and project management principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online research tools.
Previous experience in proposal writing, fundraising, or development programming is an added advantage.
