Job Title: Site Engineer, SME (Structural, Mechanical & Electrical)

Job Summary

• We seeks to hire experience SME (Tructural, Mechanical, Electrical) Engineers to support the planning, design, execution, and supervision of our ongoing buildingprojects.
• The ideal candidates shallpossess strong experience in buildings construction, site development, and project execution, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards specific to their fields (SME).

Key Responsibilities

• SME (Tructural Mechanical & Electrical supervision and coordination ofbuildingactivities and projects as large.
• Review engineering drawings (SME), specifications, and project plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys, and technical evaluations to support project planning and execution.
• Oversee site preparation, excavation, grading, trenching, and other civil works associated with pipeline installation.
• Monitor the SME aspect of the construction activities to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Interpret requirements identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately and in budget.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Proficient in water reticulation to include good knowledge of design and drafting of Mechanical System ofsoil, water & waste drainage.
• Monitor project costs and resource utilization to support efficient project execution.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Structure, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering asrelated to discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in civil engineering within the construction industry.
• Demonstrated experience in Building construction projects is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of SME engineering principles, construction methods, and project execution.
• Experience supervising site activities, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices in construction sites.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and other engineering software is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
• COREN registration or relevant professional certification in the specialization (SME) is an added advantage.
