Job Title: IT Support Engineer

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are looking for an Experienced, hands-on and solutions-driven IT Staff member to join our IT team in overseeing the technology operations of our retail organization.
• This role requires someone who can manage and maintain our QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) system, troubleshoot daily technical issues, and ensure seamless integration between our stores outside and within Lagos our inventory systems, and our back-office operations.
• This is a full-time on-site role.

Key Work Functions

• Overseeing the company's IT infrastructure
• Working with the IT team
• Ensuring the security and efficiency of the company systems and electronic equipment
• Implementing technology solutions
• Providing technical support to internal and external staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network related issues both on-site and remotely
• Setup and deploy new IT equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, phones and meeting room devices etc
• Assist in procurement and inventory management of IT equipment
• Conduct system maintenance, security and perform patching/updates as needed, including the company website updating and maintenance.
• Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of QuickBooks POS systems.
• Manage inventory software integration and support stock control accuracy.
• Handle system backups, network stability, and POS software updates.
• Liaise with third-party vendors, internet service providers, and software partners.
• Maintain a proactive approach to data protection, cybersecurity, and IT compliance.
• Comfortable working independently with remote access tools and managing tech systems in stores across different states.

Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: B.Sc Degree in Computer Science Engineering 
• Experience Level : 2-3 years
• Should possess a COMPTIA+ Certification.
