We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Supervisor

Location: Odogbolu, Ogun

About the Role

• We are seeking a proactive and experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Supervisor to join our oil palm processing operations in Odogbolu, Ogun State.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the company's health, safety, and environmental management systems to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs across the processing facility and Plantations.
• Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE regulations, company standards, and environmental requirements.
• Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Organize and deliver HSE induction and training programs for employees and contractors.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance.
• Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response procedures.
• Monitor waste management practices and environmental impact controls.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors on HSE-related matters.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in an HSE role within manufacturing, Agro-processing, FMCG, or industrial operations.
• Professional HSE certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON, OSHA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations and environmental compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Salary Range
N400,000 – N600,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
