Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Camp Manager to oversee the daily operations of a remote camp facility.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of accommodation, food services, safety compliance, and overall camp administration while maintaining cost efficiency and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full management and oversight of camp operations and activities
• Supervise, train, and lead camp staff to ensure high performance and productivity
• Plan, assign, and monitor work schedules and daily tasks
• Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for camp management
• Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control within assigned areas
• Oversee procurement activities, including local purchasing of supplies and furniture
• Supervise housekeeping operations, including cleanliness of rooms, facilities, and surroundings
• Ensure high standards of food quality, menu planning, and kitchen management
• Allocate rooms in accordance with company procedures and maintain occupancy records
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms and monitor resident well-being (illness, absence, etc.)
• Coordinate medical assistance or transportation for sick occupants when required
• Maintain records including electricity consumption, inventory, and camp logistics
• Manage sewage disposal processes and related documentation
• Coordinate arrivals and departures with the Administration Department
• Review and approve weekly reports, supply orders, and inventory records
• Ensure all services, amenities, and facilities meet operational standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in camp management or a similar role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively
• Relevant professional certifications or training
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and report writing

Additional Information:

• Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays when required
• Successful candidates will be subject to background checks and pre-employment screening

N20,000,000 / Annum.
