We are recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Assistant Security Supervisor

Locations: Abuja and Ososa - Ogun

Job Purpose

• The Assistant Security Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Security Supervisor in coordinating and monitoring daily security operations to ensure the safety and security of personnel, visitors, assets, facilities, and company information.
• You will be assisting in supervising security personnel, enforcing security policies and procedures, monitoring access control systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with organizational security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and monitor duty roster for deployment of outsourced guards to their respective beats on resumption of duty.
• Ensure effective and efficient coverage of beats to forestall theft, sabotage, espionage and damage occasioned by human/natural occurrences.
• Conduct regular patrol of the beats to ensure outsourced security personnel effectively execute their responsibilities in line with agreed SLA.
• Manage the shift and ensure any item do not leave the factory premises without due authorization, while no unauthorize items or persons gain access into the factory premises.
• Promptly bring any security breaches within the factory premises to the notice of the Supervisor - Safety and Security
• Ensure new employees, visitors, guests, contractors, etc. are courteously welcomed and escorted to the office or departments to be visited.
• Ensure proper and adequate documentation at all locations by reviewing beat registers where necessary while documenting observations and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure prompt attention to all security emergencies and render detailed situation reports/taking and handing over reports at the end of each duty tour for appropriate actions.
• Liaise with outsourced security entity and loading supervisors/clerks to ensure free flow vehicular movements/parking.
• Monitor outsourced security personnel’s performance and provide constructive feedbacks.

Qualifications

• OND or its equivalent in any relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
