We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • OneVerify is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Business Development Executive to support the company’s growth by identifying business opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and driving customer acquisition across various industries.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, understand client relationship management, and have the ability to promote technology-driven verification and compliance solutions to businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnershipsand clients.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, market researchand outbound engagement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Present the company’s products and services to clients in a compelling and professional manner.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and business presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates and performance reports.
  • Represent the company at business meetings, conferencesand networking events.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number of new clients acquired.
  • Revenue generated from business deals.
  • Lead conversion rate.
  • Client retention and satisfaction.
  • Achievement of monthly and quarterly targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Law, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, client management, or partnerships.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to develop and sustain professional relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills.
  • Experience in tech, fintech, HR-tech, verification, or compliance services is an added advantage.
