African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), established by African Industries Group, operates a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni village, Kagarko LGA, Kaduna state—the first of its kind in Nigeria.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Group Project Manager / ELV Manager - Security Systems (CCTV / Access Control)
The Project Manager / ELV Manager will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of security system projects including CCTV and Access Control.
The position requires a strong blend of project management and technical expertise in security systems.
The individual will drive project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases while maintaining a focus on delivering top-tier solutions in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
Project Lifecycle Management: Lead, manage, and oversee the implementation of security systems projects, focusing on CCTV, biometric attendance and Access Control and related systems.
System Design & Technical Implementation: Develop system designs and select appropriate technology ensuring that designs align with client requirements, industry best practices, and security standards.
Team Leadership: Manage cross-functional teams of technicians, installers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery and system installation.
Team Collaboration: Conduct regular project review meetings with internal IT and business teams and stakeholders to provide updates, ensure transparency, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Budget and Resource Management: Develop and track project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure efficient use of resources to meet project goals without compromising quality.
Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and issues, formulate solutions, and implement corrective actions during project execution.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and corporate guidelines. Maintain proper project documentation, including technical drawings, BOQs, site surveys, and as-built specifications.
System Integration & Testing: Oversee the integration of CCTV, Access Control, and other security systems with existing infrastructure. Ensure systems function as intended through rigorous testing.
Continuous Support: Provide technical guidance to the team and post-installation support to clients, ensuring smooth operational handover and client satisfaction.
Innovative Solutions: Keep abreast of new technologies and emerging trends in surveillance, access control, and security systems to recommend upgrades and improvements.
Requirements
Qualification:
Engineering Degree / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Security Systems
Diploma in Security and Surveillance Technology (added advantage)
Certified CCTV Professional (CCP) (added advantage)
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, Hikvision certification) are a strong advantage
Bachelor’s Degree in related qualifications
Skills& Experience:
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in CCTV, biometric attendance and Access Controls, and ELV systems with a proven track record of successful project management in security systems.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of IP cameras, NVRs, DVRs, Access Control Panels, Biometrics systems, ANPR, Visitor Management Systems, alarms, and turnstiles.
Experience in software integration and customization for security systems (preferred).
Knowledge of networking protocols, IP networking, and experience with network design for surveillance systems.
Project Management: Strong proficiency in managing large-scale projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
Leadership: Ability to manage and lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and client expectations.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear documentation and effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems early, think critically, and implement solutions swiftly.
Vendor Management: Ability to manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring smooth procurement and timely delivery of materials and services.
Additional Preferred Skills:
Experience with advanced security technologies, such as facial recognition systems, video analytics, smart buildings, and integrated security platforms.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity risks and best practices in securing surveillance and access control systems.
