Job Title: Senior Sales Consultant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Industry: Renewable Energy / Solar Technology
Fixed-Term: Contract — 6 months (renewable for a further 6 months)
Reports To: MD / CEO
Slot: 2 Openings

Role Overview

  • We are looking for two high-performing Senior Sales Consultants to drive revenue growth across our B2C and B2B segments. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, build lasting client relationships, and act as a trusted advisor on solar energy solutions.
  • This is a hybrid role suited to a self-starter who thrives in a target-driven environment and brings hands-on experience selling solar, renewable energy, or closely related products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end sales across B2C and B2B channels — prospect, qualify, present, negotiate, and close deals on solar inverters, batteries, and panels.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and enterprise client segments.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand client energy needs and deliver tailored product recommendations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, SMEs, facility managers, and corporate decision-makers.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and client interactions using CRM tools.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market pricing, and emerging trends in the Nigerian solar space.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, installation handover, and after-sales support.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in solar energy, renewable energy, inverters, batteries, or a closely related sector - this is a firm requirement.
  • Demonstrated track record of closing deals independently in B2C, B2B, or both.
  • Familiarity with the Nigerian solar market: product types, pricing, and customer pain points around power supply.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Comfortable working to targets with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with CRM tools and pipeline tracking is an advantage.

What We Offer

  • Competitive net monthly salary of ₦300,000 – ₦350,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Uncapped commission structure - 2.5% profit sharing upon hitting targets.
  • Hybrid working arrangement.
  • Successful candidates will be engaged on a third-party payroll arrangement for the duration of the contract.
