Job Title: Business Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and strategic Business Manager to oversee business operations, drive revenue growth, and expand market presence.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, leading and supervising teams, building strategic partnerships, strengthening client relationships, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • This role requires a proactive professional with strong leadership, sales, operational, and financial management capabilities who can effectively contribute to the organization's growth and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Develop and implement effective business development and sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and successfully close business deals to achieve organizational targets.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, meetings, and industry engagements.

Operations & Inventory Management:

  • Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock management and minimize losses.
  • Supervise distribution activities and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  • Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements where necessary.

Team Leadership & Performance Management:

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate team members to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor business performance and ensure targets are consistently met.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Planning & Compliance:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare and present business proposals, reports, and performance updates to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support lead generation, client acquisition, and business growth initiatives.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience in business management, sales, marketing, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in operations, inventory, and logistics management.
  • Financial management and business performance monitoring skills.
  • Strong sales and marketing execution capabilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 monthly.
