Job Title: Field Agent

Location: Nnewi, Anambra

Job Summary

• The Field Agent is responsible for customer acquisition, savings mobilization, loan monitoring, collections, and relationship management within assigned locations.
• The role involves regular field visits to customers' homes, businesses, markets, and communities to support account opening, loan verification, repayment monitoring, and business growth.
• The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, target-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable working extensively in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and recruit new customers for savings and loan products.
• Open and process customer accounts in line with company policies.
• Mobilize deposits and encourage customers to increase savings balances.
• Conduct field visits for customer onboarding and verification.
• Assess customers' businesses and repayment capacity before loan disbursement.
• Carry out address and guarantor verification exercises.
• Monitor loan utilization and repayment performance.
• Follow up on due and overdue loan repayments.
• Implement loan recovery strategies for delinquent accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and community leaders.
• Educate customers on available financial products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, collections, and field activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field reports.
• Meet assigned customer acquisition, savings mobilization, and loan recovery targets.

Qualifications

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Field Agent, Credit Officer, Loan Officer, Savings Mobilization Officer, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good negotiation and debt recovery skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Familiarity with the local market and business environment.
• Basic knowledge of lending and savings operations.
• Proficiency in using smartphones and digital data collection tools.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
