We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pastry chef / Baker

Location: Utako/Wuye/FCT Abuja (FCT) ,
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Bakery Production
• Prepare doughs, batters, fillings, creams, and icings according to approved recipes.
• Bake bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products.
• Decorate and finish baked products to company standards.
• Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality to ensure consistency.
• Ensure all bakery products are fresh, attractive, and available for sale.
• Prepare and assemble sandwiches, salads, desserts, beverages, and other pantry items.
• Portion and package products according to company standards.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
• Ensure pantry displays and food presentation areas remain clean and well-stocked.
• Support special orders, catering requests, and promotional activities.
• Contribute ideas for new bakery and pantry products.

Requirements

• Relevant Experience
• Previous experience in baking, pastry production, pantry operations, or a similar food production role.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and product quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts when required.
