The Brand Strategist is responsible for developing and executing the overall brand strategy ensuring a consistent and premium brand presence across all customer touchpoints.
This role oversees brand positioning, content strategy, social media direction, marketing campaigns, customer engagement initiatives, and strategic partnerships to strengthen brand awareness, audience growth, and customer loyalty.
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
Define and maintain the brand's voice, visual identity, messaging, and market positioning.
Ensure consistency of brand standards across all online and offline channels.
Identify opportunities to strengthen the brand's luxury positioning and competitive advantage.
Create and maintain brand guidelines for all internal and external communications.
Content Strategy & Social Media Management:
Develop and oversee the content strategy across all social media platforms, including:
Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, Threads, WhatsApp Business Channels
Create monthly and quarterly content plans aligned with brand objectives and marketing campaigns.
Develop content pillars that support brand storytelling, customer education, product awareness, lifestyle positioning, and community engagement.
Coordinate content production, including photoshoots, video shoots, influencer content, user-generated content, and campaign assets.
Write, review, and approve content briefs, captions, scripts, and campaign messaging.
Ensure all content reflects the luxury standards and aesthetic of the brand.
Monitor content performance and optimize strategies based on engagement and audience insights.
Brand Campaigns & Marketing Initiatives:
Develop and execute brand awareness campaigns, seasonal campaigns, product launch campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
Create campaign briefs and collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers, and content creators.
Ensure marketing activities align with the overall brand strategy.
Measure and report on campaign effectiveness.
Community & Audience Engagement:
Develop strategies to increase audience growth, engagement, and brand loyalty.
Oversee community-building initiatives and customer engagement campaigns.
Monitor brand sentiment and customer feedback across social platforms.
Recommend initiatives that strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Influencer & Partnership Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage influencer partnerships and brand ambassador relationships.
Develop collaboration strategies that enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Build strategic relationships with industry stakeholders, media partners, beauty professionals, and luxury lifestyle influencers.
Monitor influencer performance and campaign outcomes.
Market Research & Consumer Insights:
Conduct competitor analysis and monitor industry trends within the luxury beauty and hair industry.
Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and purchasing trends.
Develop audience personas and customer journey insights.
Identify opportunities for brand growth and innovation.
Brand Performance & Reporting:
Track and analyze key brand and marketing metrics.
Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
Provide recommendations for improving brand visibility, audience engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
Utilize analytics tools to evaluate content, campaign, and brand performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
3 –5 years of experience in brand management, content strategy, social media management, or marketing.
Experience working with luxury, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, or premium consumer brands.
Demonstrated success in building and growing brand presence across multiple digital platforms.
Strong understanding of social media management, content creation and platform best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Polished, friendly, and professional demeanor suitable for a luxury environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Good grooming and presentation standards.
Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
Salary
N200,000 / month.
