Job Title: Tiler

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)

Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tiler to install, repair, and maintain wall and floor tiles in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, cutting and fitting tiles, and ensuring a high-quality finish that meets project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to determine tile layout.
• Prepare wall and floor surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortar.
• Cut tiles to the required size and shape using appropriate tools.
• Lay and align tiles according to design specifications and patterns.
• Apply grout and sealants to complete installations.
• Repair or replace damaged tiles as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, contractors, and other tradespeople.

Qualifications

• Trade certification or vocational training in tiling is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant work experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tiler or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, measurements, and specifications.
• Good attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
