Role Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Copywriter / Creative Lead who consistently develops strong ideas, crafts compelling narratives, and elevates the quality of creative work across brands and campaigns.
• This role is for someone who can move beyond writing execution to shape creative thinking, influence brand direction, and make sound strategic and creative decisions.
• You should be able to translate business objectives and brand strategy into impactful concepts, campaigns, and content that resonate with audiences.

Your Duties

• Turn brand strategy into clear creative and content direction
• Develop strong ideas across campaigns, content, branding, and advertising projects
• Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy across multiple platforms and formats
• Translate briefs and strategy into compelling concepts and creative solutions
• Lead the verbal development of campaigns, content, and brand communications
• Present and defend creative ideas internally and when required with clients
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Designers, Strategists, and Account Managers
• Guide and mentor junior writers and creatives to improve the quality of output
• Make creative decisions and take ownership of outcomes
• Ensure all written communication meets high creative, brand, and editorial standards
• Stay informed on culture, consumer behaviour, trends, and industry developments
• Advise brands on cultural moments, conversations, and opportunities worth participating in

Who We Are Looking For

• Minimum of 6 years experience in Copywriting or Creative Writing (agency experience preferred)
• A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, creative leadership, and exceptional writing
• Ability to develop ideas that are both creatively strong and commercially effective
• Excellent writing skills with a strong command of language, tone, and storytelling
• Comfortable owning decisions, leading projects, and managing expectations
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Curious, disciplined, and open to challenge
• Ability to maintain high standards while managing multiple projects and deadlines
• Consistently deliver work that requires fewer revisions because the thinking is sound from the outset
