Description

• The Project Engineer (Electrical) will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems and engineering solutions within the organization.
• The successful candidate will support project execution, ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations, and provide technical expertise across engineering operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, implement, and improve facilities, components, equipment, products, and systems for industrial, commercial, and domestic purposes.
• Perform engineering tasks using computer-assisted design and engineering software.
• Collaborate with customers, engineers, and stakeholders on engineering projects and solutions.
• Prepare systems specifications, technical drawings, and engineering documentation.
• Carry out engineering calculations to establish construction, manufacturing, and installation standards.
• ⁠Ensure compliance with engineering standards, codes, customer requirements, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, manufacturing, construction, and testing activities.
• Write technical reports and compile data relating to engineering projects and studies.
• Prepare specifications for procurement of engineering materials and equipment.
• ⁠Support equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and asset reliability activities.
• Work closely with technicians, project teams, designers, and quality control teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering practices, design standards, procedures, and specifications.
• Knowledge of international engineering codes and ANSI standards.
• ⁠Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
• ⁠Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks effectively.
