We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cost Control Assistant

Location: Cross River
Reports to: Cost Control Supervisor

Main Function

  • The Cost Control Assistant will support inventory management, stock monitoring, and operational cost control processes within the organization.
  • The role involves assisting with stock reconciliation, documentation, cost tracking, and operational reporting to ensure effective cost management and accountability.

Role Responsibilities
Inventory and Cost Monitoring:

  • Assist with inventory counting and stock reconciliation exercises.
  • Monitor stock movement and update inventory records.
  • Support tracking of operational expenses and material usage.
  • Identify discrepancies and report unusual stock variations.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate inventory and cost control records.
  • Prepare daily and weekly inventory reports.
  • Assist in documentation of invoices, requisitions, and stock transfers.
  • Support preparation of cost analysis reports.

Operational Support:

  • Work closely with kitchen, bar, store, and procurement teams.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory and operational procedures.
  • Support implementation of cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education and Certifications:

  • OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in inventory, cost control, or accounting support roles.
  • Hospitality, restaurant, or retail inventory management experience will be an added advantage.

Skills:
Technical and Organizational Skills:

  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.

Communication and Teamwork:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Honest, reliable, and organized.
