Freight Support Officer at Fort Knox Outsourcing

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Freight Support Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare and process shipping and freight documentation.
• Liaise with transport providers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth freight operations.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates.
• Resolve delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, and logistics-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of freight transactions and delivery schedules.
• Monitor freight costs and support cost optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure efficient cargo handling.
• Prepare periodic reports on freight activities and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in freight, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations is an added advantage.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
