We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Clients and Technical Officer (Veterinary Doctor)

Location: Ibadan,  Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • Agricare STD Plus Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Veterinary Doctor to fill the position of Clients & Technical Officer.
  • The successful candidate will serve as the key technical liaison between the company and its customers, providing professional veterinary support, technical advisory services, customer relationship management, and business development support to poultry and livestock clients.
  • The role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise in animal health, poultry production, farm management, and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Services:

  • Provide professional veterinary and technical support to customers on poultry and livestock management.
  • Conduct farm visits and assess flock health, performance, biosecurity, nutrition, and management practices.
  • Diagnose health challenges and recommend appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
  • Offer technical guidance on vaccination programs, disease control, medication usage, and farm management.
  • Monitor customer flock performance and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
  • Support customers in improving productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and assess customer needs to achieve maximum satisfaction while discharging duties
  • Prepare weekly reports of documented customer complaints and new discount agreements
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
  • Preparation and review of Literature on new and already existing products.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer technical inquiries and complaints.
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular follow-up visits and provide after-sales technical support.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, farm performance data, and service reports.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities to grow sales of the company's products and services.
  • Assist in developing and implementing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
  • Support marketing campaigns, product launches, seminars, and technical training programs.
  • Participate in exhibitions, customer engagement events, and industry meetings.
  • Prepare market intelligence reports on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to veterinary ethics, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation of farm visits, technical recommendations, and customer interactions.
  • Support management with technical data and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary practicing license.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years relevant experience in poultry, livestock production, veterinary services, or technical sales.
  • Strong knowledge of poultry production, animal health, biosecurity, vaccination programs, and farm management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing.
  • Ability to travel extensively for farm visits and customer support.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license will be an added advantage.
