Incel Tourism LLC is one of the leading Destination Management Company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates with a full fledge office in Lagos, Nigeria to cater for the growing Sub Saharan African market. As a licensed Inbound Tour Operator in UAE, the services we render to visitors, tourists and business travelers include taking care of all their travel arrangements including Visas, Flight Tickets, Hotel Booking, Tour Services and also MICE.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Travel Consultant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

  • The Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing professional travel advisory services, managing travel bookings, processing visas, developing travel itineraries, and delivering exceptional customer service to both corporate and individual clients.
  • The successful candidate must possess extensive experience in the travel and tourism industry and demonstrate a strong understanding of travel operations, airline ticketing, visa requirements, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
Travel Advisory & Customer Service:

  • Provide expert travel advice and recommendations to clients on destinations, travel requirements, visa regulations, and travel products.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Airline Ticketing & Reservations:

  • Handle domestic and international flight reservations, ticket issuance, revalidation, reissues, refunds, and cancellations.
  • Ensure accuracy in all bookings and ticketing transactions.
  • Monitor airline schedules, fare rules, and travel restrictions.

Visa Processing & Documentation:

  • Guide clients through visa application processes and documentation requirements.
  • Review client documents to ensure compliance with embassy and immigration requirements.
  • Track visa applications and provide regular updates to clients.

Travel Planning & Itinerary Development:

  • Design customized travel itineraries based on client preferences, budgets, and travel objectives.
  • Coordinate hotel bookings, airport transfers, tours, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.

Corporate Travel Management:

  • Manage travel arrangements for corporate clients.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective travel solutions while maintaining service excellence.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts and travel partners.

Reporting & Administration:

  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, client interactions, payments, and travel transactions.
  • Prepare periodic sales and activity reports as required by Management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Number of bookings processed accurately.
  • Customer satisfaction rating.
  • Booking accuracy rate.
  • Visa processing success rate.
  • Client retention rate.
  • New customer acquisition.
  • Response time to customer inquiries.
  • Ancillary sales performance.
  • Compliance with operational procedures and service standards.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related certifications / discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in Travel Consulting, Travel Operations, Airline Ticketing, or Travel Management.
  • Strong working knowledge of airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre, or related 2-3 GDS platforms.
  • Experience in visa processing and travel documentation.
  • Proven track record in travel sales and customer service.
  • Professional travel and tourism certifications will be an added advantage.
