Empearl Consulting - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Reservoir Development Manager

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Lead the evaluation, planning, and execution of reservoir management strategies to optimize recovery and extend asset life.
• Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, and production engineering teams to design integrated development plans.
• Ensure alignment of reservoir management activities with HSE requirements and corporate governance.
• Manage reservoir engineering budgets, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
• Coordinate technical studies for field development planning, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) evaluation, and infill drilling opportunities.
• Ensure quality control and consistency in all reservoir engineering deliverables and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• 10 years' progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry.
• Minimum of 5 years in a lead or managerial role, overseeing reservoir engineering teams or multi-field projects.
• Proven expertise in reservoir simulation software such as Eclipse, CMG, or Navigator.

Certifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) License or equivalent international accreditation.
• IWCF (International Well Control Forum) Certification - Level 4 (Supervisory).
• Reservoir Simulation and Modelling Certification (Eclipse/CMG/tNavigator recognized training).
