Job Title: Pool Driver

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We're looking for a reputable driver for our company.
• The Pool Driver is responsible for operating company vehicles from the central pool to provide transportation support for staff, visitors, and logistics needs.
• The role ensures safe driving, effective scheduling, and proper maintenance of all assigned vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Transport:

• Safely drive company vehicles assigned from the pool to transport staff, clients, and goods.
• Manage multiple driving requests across departments based on daily schedules.
• Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of staff, documents, or parcels.
• Support official trips, airport transfers, and external meetings when required.

Vehicle Maintenance & Management:

• Conduct routine checks on pool vehicles before and after use (oil, fuel, water, tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
• Keep all vehicles clean, fueled, and roadworthy.
• Record vehicle movement in the logbook (mileage, trips, fuel usage).
• Report mechanical issues, damages, or accidents immediately to the Admin/HR Manager.
• Assist with scheduling vehicle servicing and repairs in line with company policies.

Compliance & Safety:

• Follow road safety rules and Lagos traffic regulations at all times.
• Ensure vehicle documents (license, road worthiness, insurance, etc.) are valid and updated.
• Observe strict confidentiality when handling company materials or transporting staff.
• Maintain professional conduct and courtesy towards staff and visitors.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SSCE or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a corporate or pool driver.
• Familiarity with Lagos routes, traffic patterns, and alternative roads.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize trips.
• Physically fit, reliable, and trustworthy.
