Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated, skilled, and compassionate Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) to join our healthcare team.
• This role is ideal for a proactive professional committed to delivering quality patient care and supporting clinical excellence in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions and provide appropriate healthcare support and guidance.
• Monitor vital signs and perform routine clinical procedures, including blood pressure checks, injections, and other basic treatments.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with physician directives.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
• Provide prompt assistance during emergencies and support urgent care interventions.
• Assist physicians during consultations, medical procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Uphold clinical best practices, safety protocols, and quality care standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid practicing licence is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant professional experience in a healthcare setting.
• Recognized CHEW qualification with registration under the appropriate regulatory body.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting will be considered an added advantage.
• Must reside within Magodo, Shangisha, Ketu, or nearby areas.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
