Job Title: Functional/Automation Tester (Intermediate, Specialist, and Consultant)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and deployment processes
• Understanding of scalability, reliability, and testing standards
• Experience designing and executing automated and manual test scripts
• Understanding of defect management and quality assurance practices
• Experience validating systems against functional and non-functional requirements
• Ability to maintain automation documentation and test reports
• Experience working within testing governance frameworks
• Ability to follow secure testing and automation practices
• Understanding of auditability and testing controls
• Ability to support multiple testing initiatives and environments
• Ability to quickly onboard into new applications and technologies
• Working effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams (product, engineering, QA, business)
• Working under defined timelines and adapting to changing priorities and demand

Qualifications and Experience required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Design, Business, or equivalent).
• Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• 7–15+ years of relevant professional experience, depending on role level (Junior, Intermediate, Specialist, or Consultant).
• Must have completed NYSC
• Experience working in enterprise-scale digital, IT, or technology environments
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery (Scrum / Kanban), and cross‑functional collaboration
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and delivery‑focused mindset.
