We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Victoria Island (Adeola Odeku), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

• Dulles Restaurant and Lounge is seeking a detail - oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory management of food, beverages, operational supplies, and other materials required for the smooth operation of the restaurant and lounge.
• The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement of quality products at competitive prices while maintaining optimal inventory levels and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure food items, beverages, kitchen supplies, cleaning materials, and operational equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality products at competitive prices.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to prevent stock shortages and overstocking.
• Conduct regular market surveys to identify cost - saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and approved budgets.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, invoices, supplier contracts, and purchase documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with the Finance Department to reconcile procurement transactions and vendor payments.
• Assist in inventory counts and stock audits as required.
• Ensure proper procurement planning for peak periods, events, and special promotions.
• Track and report procurement costs, savings, and supplier performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and hospitality industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• 2 – 5 years' experience in procurement, preferably within a restaurant, hotel, lounge, or hospitality environment.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience in food and beverage procurement.
• Good understanding of inventory management and stock control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory / procurement software.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong organizational and time - management abilities.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
