Job Title: Vertical Panel Side Machining Operator (Biesse Brema EKO 2.1)

Location: Lagos

Description

• Experienced operator required to run the Biesse Brema EKO 2.1 CNC vertical machining centre for precision side machining, drilling, routing, and grooving of wood panels in a furniture/cabinetry production setting. Ideal should have strong Artcam and Autocad knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate the Brema EKO 2.1 for vertical drilling, milling, routing, and grooving.
• Manage drilling head, electrospindle, tool changer, and automatic referencing systems.
• Import/optimise programs, simulate operations, and perform tool changes and calibrations.
• Inspect machined panels for accuracy and quality; follow production schedules to minimise waste.
• Conduct routine maintenance and strictly follow safety protocols.

Requirements

• 4–7 years hands-on experience with the Biesse Brema EKO 2.1 or similar Biesse vertical CNC machines.
• Ability to read technical drawings, use CNC control software, Artcam and Autocad
• Strong knowledge of vertical panel processing, materials (MDF, chipboard, etc.), and precision techniques.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and physical fitness for workshop environment.
