Job Title: Farm Tank Warehouse Officer

Location: Sango Ota

Purpose of Job

• To ensure the effective receipt, storage, handling, stock control, and dispatch of wines, spirits, and related materials within the farm tank warehouse.
• The role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, and supporting uninterrupted production and distribution operations through efficient warehouse management practices.

Principal Accountabilities

• Manage the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of wines, spirits, raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods within the farm tank warehouse to ensure inventory integrity and product quality.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts, reconciliations, and warehouse management systems to minimize stock variances and losses.
• Coordinate the loading and unloading of products and materials, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Ensure proper handling, storage conditions, and stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO) to preserve product quality and reduce product deterioration or expiry.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all warehouse transactions, including goods receipts, transfers, dispatches, and inventory adjustments.
• Conduct routine inspections of storage tanks, warehouse facilities, and equipment, reporting any defects or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely availability and movement of materials required for business operations.
• Monitor warehouse housekeeping and enforce compliance with health, safety, environmental, and food/beverage industry regulations.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damages, losses, and operational issues, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
• Support periodic audits and ensure all warehouse records and processes comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow processes to improve operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Added Advantage: Professional certification in Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or Logistics Management.
• Minimum Requirement: Minimum 3–5 years cognate experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain management within an FMCG, beverage, wines & spirits, or manufacturing environment.
• Added Advantage: Experience managing tank storage operations, ERP/WMS systems, inventory reconciliation, and compliance with beverage industry quality and safety standards.
