Job Summary

• A reputable organization requires the services of a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead project concept development, project planning, partnership project structuring, multi-project delivery, SOP development, project governance, reporting, and implementation across the organization.
• The successful candidate will manage both internal company projects and external-facing projects involving customers, clients, partners, farmers, cooperatives, institutions, communities, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead project development, planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across multiple projects.
• Develop project concept notes, business cases, project briefs, proposals, and implementation frameworks.
• Convert management ideas, customer needs, partnership opportunities, farmer engagement models, and business objectives into structured project plans.
• Develop project SOPs, approval workflows, dashboards, project registers, reporting templates, and governance systems.
• Supervise project officers assigned to different projects.
• Manage client-facing, partner-facing, farmer engagement, internal, and external stakeholder projects.
• Prepare project charters, work plans, budgets, schedules, dashboards, risk registers, reports, and close-out documents.
• Track project timelines, budgets, deliverables, risks, vendors, contractors, stakeholders, and project officers.
• Coordinate internal teams, consultants, vendors, contractors, clients, partners, farmers, institutions, and external stakeholders.
• 1Verify project progress through reports, evidence, field visits, and stakeholder updates.
• Escalate delays, cost overruns, project risks, quality issues, and stakeholder concerns.
• Train and mentor project officers to build internal project management capacity.
• Support project close-out, lessons learned, documentation, reporting, and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, HND, Master’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Agriculture, Construction Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Development Studies, Supply Chain, Economics, Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 12+ years’ practical project management experience.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects at the same time.
• Strong experience developing project concept notes, business cases, project proposals, project plans, budgets, schedules, SOPs, dashboards, risk registers, reports, and close-out documentation.
• Experience managing internal company projects and external-facing projects for clients, customers, partners, farmers, institutions, communities, or external organizations.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PgMP, AgilePM, PMI-RMP, CAPM, or equivalent will be strongly preferred.
• Experience in agriculture, infrastructure, construction, operations, business expansion, development projects, farmer engagement projects, partnership projects, or multi-location projects will be an advantage.
• Must be highly practical, disciplined, honest, firm, organized, stakeholder-sensitive, and delivery-focused.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and travel to project sites where required.
