Job Summary

• A Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering mathematics lessons that help students understand mathematical concepts and develop problem-solving skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver mathematics lessons according to the curriculum.
• Teach topics such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus (depending on the level).
• Assess and evaluate students' academic performance through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Maintain accurate records of students' progress and attendance.
• Provide additional support to students who need help with mathematical concepts.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and school activities.
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' progress.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license (where required).
• Strong knowledge of mathematical principles and teaching methods.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.

Salary
N50,000 - N100,000 per month.
