We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive (Trade)

Locations: Owerri - Imo and Aba - Abia and Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive (Trade) to drive sales growth across theterritory by managingdealers, wholesalers, retailers, and key trade accounts.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding market coverage, strengthening customer relationships, ensuring product availability, and achieving sales and distribution targets for our range of consumer electronics and home appliances within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve sales volume, revenue, and distribution targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively acquiring new trade accounts.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability, visibility, effective merchandising, and brand presence across retail outlets.
  • Monitor stock levels, product movement, and replenishment to prevent stock-outs and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensure timely order generation, payment collection, and coordination with the logistics team for efficient product delivery.
  • Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, sales forecasts, and territory reports while tracking performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues, improve service delivery, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies, credit guidelines, and operational procedures.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Trade Sales, Electronics Sales, Territory Sales, Distributor Management, or Retail Sales.
  • Experience selling consumer electronics, home appliances, or related products will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market coverage.
  • Strong understanding of trade channels, dealer networks, retail operations, and distribution management.
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and customer engagement skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence customers and trade partners.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with sales reporting tools or CRM systems.
