We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Statistician

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Warri - Delta, and Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• We are seeking a highly analytical and detail oriented Statistician to support business intelligence, operational analysis, project reporting, and strategic planning across our engineering and energy operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data to improve efficiency, forecasting, compliance reporting, and organizational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze operational and project data
• Develop statistical models for forecasting and performance evaluation
• Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations for management
• Conduct trend analysis and interpret large datasets for business insights
• Monitor KPIs across projects, operations, and compliance activities
• Support budgeting, risk analysis, and feasibility studies
• Design surveys, data collection systems, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and operations teams for data driven decisions
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and proper documentation
• Provide recommendations based on statistical findings and predictive analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in statistical analysis or data analytics
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods and data interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SPSS, Power BI, Python, R, or related analytical tools
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
• Experience in engineering, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial operations is an added advantage
• Warri: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required).
