Job Description

• Managers in Product Development / Management at the Consultant / Manager level are responsible for driving product strategy from conception through implementation.
• The role focuses on identifying new business and market opportunities, creating business plans, and ensuring product consistency with organizational objectives.
• As a central resource, the manager interacts with systems, marketing, and sales during product development, formulates and executes long - term plans for cost and profit control, and promotes the use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
• All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct product strategy from conception and definition through implementation.
• Identify new business and market opportunities and create appropriate business plans.
• Determine market requirements and ensure product alignment with organizational image and objectives.
• Serve as a central resource interacting with systems, marketing, and sales during product development.
• Formulate and execute long - term plans for cost and profit control.
• Promote adoption of new technologies and industry - leading trends.
• Visa requires at least 3 days in the office; expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
• Experience in creating vision statements and setting product goals.
• Experience in defining product strategy.
• Experience in product design.
• Experience in customer discovery and designing new products based on that discovery.
• Experience in product execution.
• Experience in defining and leading plans to achieve product goals.
• Experience working within matrixed, ambiguous environments and understanding the issuing dynamic within the broader payments ecosystem.
• Experience working in Agile frameworks and comfortable working in matrixed organizations.
• Experience in process or core banking best practices and passion to implement these across teams.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, grow, retain, and lead high - caliber technical talent.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD.
• Senior product management experience in Digital, Payments, and Financial Services.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital products for issuers.
• Deep background in issuing institutions and needs when growing/managing large card portfolios.
• Strong expertise in defining and executing product strategy, product roadmaps, and go - to - market plans, leveraging data to inform decision-making and secure influence.
• Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies to collaborate effectively with engineering and design teams.
