Job Title: Head of Construction

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

About The Role

• A leading real estate development company is looking to hire an experienced and results-driven Head of Construction to oversee and drive its construction operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of all construction projects, from planning and execution to delivery.
• You will lead cross-functional teams, manage contractors and consultants, enforce quality and safety standards, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Enforce HSE compliance and quality control standards across all sites.
• Provide strategic input on project feasibility and cost planning.
• Report on project progress to executive management.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction management, preferably in real estate development.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.
• Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. COREN, NIOB, NIQS) is an advantage.
