Sunchi Integrated Farms is a 32 year old vision, etched in the visionary mind of leading industrialist Chief Sunday Ephraim Ezeobiora, 21 years later (in 2009) the vision was to become a reality with the establishment of physical infrastructure of what is known and seen today as the expansive SUNCHI INTEGRATED FARMS EMENE, ENUGU, a well-known Agri-brand with commercial focus on breeder stock, hatchery development (Day Old Chicks production), broilers rearing, feed milling/food processing as well soya oil refining. Sunchi Integrated Farms was fully incorporated as a limited liability company by the Nigerian Cooperate Affairs Commission on 5th December, 2013 under Nigerian Company and Allied Matters Act of 1990 obtaining Certificate of Incorporation No. RC.846601. Sunchi Integrated Farms Ltd(SIFL), an associate of E. Sunny Vespa International Companies Limited.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: CNG Operator

Location: Emene, Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• The CNG Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) system, including gas receiving, storage, pressure regulation, monitoring, and supply to production equipment.
• The role ensures compliance with safety standards, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining optimal plant performance.

Key Responsibilties
CNG Operator Operations Management:

• Operate and monitor all CNG equipment, including storage cascades, pressure reduction systems, compressors, pipelines, and related accessories.
• Ensure continuous and adequate gas supply to the production plant.
• Conduct daily startup, shutdown, and operational checks of the CNG system.
• Monitor gas pressure, flow rates, temperature, and other operational parameters.
• Record and maintain accurate operational logs and reports.
• Coordinate CNG truck receiving, unloading, and gas transfer activities. Safety and Compliance
• Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and operational guidelines relating to CNG handling.
• Conduct routine safety inspections of gas facilities and equipment.
• Identify and promptly report gas leaks, equipment malfunctions, and safety hazards.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Participate in emergency response drills and incident investigations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations relating to gas operations. Maintenance Support
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on CNG equipment.
• Assist maintenance personnel during repairs and servicing activities.
• Report equipment abnormalities and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping within the CNG station and surrounding areas.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain daily operational records, gas consumption records, and equipment inspection reports.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports as required.
• Record all incidents, downtime, maintenance activities, and safety observations. Inventory and Asset Management
• Monitor gas inventory levels and notify management when replenishment is required.
• Safeguard all CNG equipment and operational assets.
• Ensure availability of operational tools, safety devices, and consumables.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Zero gas-related accidents or safety violations.
• System uptime and uninterrupted gas supply.
• Timely completion of operational and safety inspections.
• Accuracy of operational records and reports.
• Compliance with preventive maintenance schedules.
• Efficient gas utilization and minimal wastage.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / month.
