We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Recruitment Specialist

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for attracting, sourcing, assessing, and hiring qualified talent to support itel Energy's business objectives.
  • The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong talent pipelines, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and partnering with hiring managers to fill vacancies efficiently while maintaining high recruitment standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from job requisition to onboarding.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements across relevant recruitment platforms and social media channels.
  • Source candidates through job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other sourcing channels.
  • Screen applications, conduct initial interviews, and shortlist qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Conduct reference and background checks where applicable.
  • Prepare offer letters and support salary negotiations within approved guidelines.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees in collaboration with the HR team.
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers, candidate databases, and recruitment reports.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Promote the company's employer brand to attract top talent.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations throughout the recruitment process.
  • Support other HR initiatives and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Experience recruiting for sales, marketing, operations, technical, and support roles is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and interviewing techniques.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and online recruitment platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
