Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Salem - Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive business growth and expand our market presence.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, developing client relationships, and implementing initiatives that increase revenue and market share for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives and revenue targets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, investors, corporate organizations, and key stakeholders.
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, referrals, market research, and strategic outreach activities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling business presentations, proposals, and investment opportunities to potential clients and partners.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop campaigns that drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Negotiate and close strategic partnerships, contracts, and business agreements in line with company objectives.
  • Monitor business development performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management review.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Establish and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to management on market expansion, product positioning, and revenue growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related role, preferably within the real estate industry.
  • Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Strong networking, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian real estate market and investment landscape is an added advantage.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently and within a team environment.
