Job Title: Senior ERP Specialist

Location: Lagos

Description
ERP Architecture & Implementation Lifecycle:

• Lead the end-to-end deployment of new ERP modules, ensuring functional setup and parameter configurations align with the company’s subsidiary business processes.
• Oversee rigorous testing protocols and User Acceptance Support (UAS) to ensure all system changes are stable before moving to live production.
• Manage the critical period following new deployments to resolve bugs and ensure high user adoption rates.
• Maintain the integrity and performance of multiple databases across the company’s subsidiaries to ensure seamless group-wide operations.

Custom Reporting & Data Intelligence:

• Develop and maintain complex financial and operational reports tailored to the needs of various executives, such as the Executive Director, Finance & Investments.
• Create and optimize management dashboards that provide real-time visibility into thegroup’s performance.
• Modify existing standard reports to meet evolving regulatory or internal audit requirements.

System Maintenance & Technical Support:

• Coordinate with IT infrastructure teams to resolve server-application connectivity issues and monitor system health checks.
• Act as the final point of escalation for issue diagnosis, ensuring all critical system incidents are resolved within a strict 48-hour window.
• Proactively manage the application of hotfixes, patches, and minor updates while advising on the commercial and technical viability of major version upgrades.
• Monitor and manage software license validity and compliance across the entire organization.

Operational Advisory & Capacity Building:

• Serve as the internal consultant for effective system utilization, ensuring the business extracts maximum value from its software investments.
• Design and lead annual refresher training programs to improve technical competency across all departments.
• Supervise external consultants to ensure they meet their contractual obligations and adhere to the group's professional standards.

Vendor and Budget Management:

• Support vendor selection processes, RFPs, SLA negotiation, performance reviews and contract renewals.
• Establish procurement and vendor risk assessment processes including security, business continuity and SLA compliance checks.
• Support in negotiating commercial terms, service credits and support packages to protect the organisation’s interests.

Performance Measurement and Continuous Improvement:

• Define and report KPIs and dashboards for availability, security posture, service performance, project delivery and user satisfaction.
• Run post-incident and post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and feed corrective actions into processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as automation of manual tasks and DevOps practices for application teams.
• Set and monitor team OKRs, professional development plans, and succession readiness.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related Engineering field.
• Must be SAGE, ORACLE certified.
• 8+ years in ERP management, with a proven track record of managing multi-database environments.
• Deep familiarity with Sage 200 Evolution is highly preferred, but expertise in similar Tier-2 ERPs (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP B1, Oracle NetSuite) is essential.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting server connectivity, SQL database management, and 3rd-party software integrations.
• Proven ability to manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and deliver high-quality support via remote and onsite channels.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to data confidentiality, with the understanding that information protection extends long-term.
