Job Title: Solar Grid Site Manager

Location: Irrua-Ekpoma, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

• We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer to join our clean energy company in the role of Solar Grid Site Manager.
• The Site Manager will be responsible for operating and maintaining a 200 – 1,000kWp solar grid. Candidates should be knowledgeable about solar technology, inverters, and batteries.
• The Site Manager will need to relocate to the site of the solar grid.

Responsibilities
System Monitoring and Operations:

• Proactively manage generation and storage assets to ensure reliable operation
• Monitor system KPIs and make plans to correct any shortfalls
• Report to management on system operations
• Repair damaged distribution lines when needed

Communication:

• Communicate professionally with clients and maintain the good reputation of the company
• Respond promptly to client questions or concerns
• Communicate quickly and effectively with MykroGrid management to address any concerns and to report on the status of the assets

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of any faults that arise and report promptly on issues requiring corrective action

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with electrical power distribution systems, preferably over 500kW.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering)
• Strong knowledge of power generation and distribution systems, ideally with some experience in solar systems
• Excellent electrical troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Permanent assignment at grid location required
• Candidates should also have experience monitoring and managing power systems, whether it be solar, gas, or another energy class.

Salary
N300,000 – N500,000 per month.
