Job Summary

• They are hiring a Head of Marketing & Leasing Partnerships to make it happen. You’ll be the face of ABM to national and international brands, turning relationships into revenue-generating leases.
• This is a high-visibility, outward-facing role at the intersection of marketing and leasing.
• You'll act as ABM's principal brand ambassador — originating relationships, pitching the Kano opportunity, and converting interest into executed tenancies — while advising the Chairman and Board on how marketing and leasing strategy align with the Group's broader growth ambitions.

What You'll Do

• Drive anchor and premium brand acquisition for Ado Bayero Mall.
• Build and lead strategic relationships with national and international brands and franchise operators.
• Develop compelling commercial pitch decks and market-entry narratives for Kano and ABM.
• Convert brand interest into signed lease agreements, working closely with the Leasing team.
• Position ABM as the leading retail and lifestyle expansion destination in Northern Nigeria.
• Shape and lead B2B marketing and brand positioning initiatives.
• Represent ABM at industry events and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
• Provide leadership and direction to the marketing and leasing support team.
• Report on pipeline performance, ROI, and budget to the Chairman and Board.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (Master's an advantage); relevant certifications a plus.
• 8–10+ years' progressive experience in retail marketing, leasing partnerships, brand expansion, or commercial real estate.
• A track record of attracting anchor tenants and premium retail, QSR, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
• A strong, active Lagos-based retail and brand network, ideally with reach into Abuja and Port Harcourt.
• Experience engaging and influencing C-suite executives, Heads of Expansion, Leasing Directors, and franchise operators.
• A flair for building data-driven pitch decks, market-entry narratives, and commercial business cases.
• Demonstrated leadership of marketing and leasing teams and external agencies.
• Comfort managing complex, long-cycle negotiations in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field (Master's an advantage); relevant certifications a plus.
