Road Construction Surveyor at Jamub Group of Companies

Our Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) division manages a growing portfolio of residential estates, institutional buildings, industrial parks, and road infrastructure projects across multiple states.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Road Construction Surveyor

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
Route and Alignment Surveying:

• Conduct topographic, route, and alignment surveys to establish the horizontal and vertical positioning of roads, drainage systems, culverts, and associated infrastructure.

Setting Out Road Works:

• Set out road centerlines, benchmarks, profiles, grades, offsets, and construction control points to ensure works are executed according to approved designs and specifications.

Quantity Measurement and Progress Monitoring:

• Measure earthworks, pavement layers, drainage structures, and other construction activities for progress reporting, quantity verification, and payment certifications.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Verify levels, coordinates, gradients, cross-sections, and dimensions of completed works to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and project standards.

Survey Data Management and Reporting:

• Prepare survey reports, as-built drawings, coordinate records, and other technical documentation while maintaining accurate survey data to support project planning, execution, and handover.

Operation and Maintenance of Survey Equipment:

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain survey instruments such as Total Stations, GPS/GNSS equipment, levels, and drones to ensure accurate and reliable survey results.
