We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Waste Management Supervisor

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities
The Waste Management Supervisor will:

• Lead and supervise a waste collection team consisting of a mini waste collection truck, a driver, and waste collectors.
• Coordinate daily waste collection operations from Monday to Friday.
• Ensure waste is collected from assigned residential, commercial, and industrial areas according to approved routes and schedules.
• Ensure all waste collected is transported and disposed of only at approved dump sites.
• Meet assigned daily operational and collection targets.
• Ensure all waste collection log forms are properly completed and duly signed by client establishments.
• Collect and submit admissible evidence of refusal to subscribe to waste management services where applicable.
• Collect and submit evidence of indiscriminate waste dumping, illegal waste disposal, and waste burning activities.
• Maintain accurate records and submit daily operational reports.
• Represent the company professionally while engaging clients, estate managers, businesses, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or HND from a recognized institution.
• Must reside within the stated location or its immediate environs.
• Must be willing and able to work in the field from Monday to Friday.
• Must own and be proficient in the use of a smartphone for reporting and documentation.
• Must possess good communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Previous experience in waste management, environmental health, logistics, compliance, or field operations will be an added advantage.
