Civil and Structural Engineer at Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE)

The Incorporated Trustees of Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization [hereinafter referred to as “Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organization (WEWE)”], a local not-for-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).

We are recruiting applications from qualified professionals for a two (2) days short-term consultancy in the capacity below:

Job Title: Civil and Structural Engineer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Qualifications/Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) is required.
• 5 - 10 years of proven professional experience in civil and structural engineering, construction supervision, and infrastructure development.
• Membership of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and other relevant professional bodies is highly desirable.
• A Master's Degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Professional certifications in project management, construction management, structural design, or related disciplines will be an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of housing estates, residential developments, infrastructure projects, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience in preparing engineering designs, technical specifications, drawings, and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, Revit, or similar design and analysis tools.
