We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fund Accounting Officer (Male)

Location: Lagos

Description
Primary Role:

• Daily Posting of all Fund Accounting transactions.
• Daily update of the clients’ investment and redemption record on the system.
• Preparation of all the investment advice for the client investment.
• Weekly Reconciliation of all Private Clients & Mutual Fund bank accounts.
• Conversion into contact the Investor and Investee data cards created on Navision by BS.
• Booking of all the fixed return investments within 24 hours after receipt of the deposit.
• Effecting the entries for investee client disbursements and repayments on credit module.
• Ensure proper valuation of all the privately managed funds.
• Management of all Fund Accounting Files, archives and information extraction.
• Work with the Fund Accountant in the preparation of weekly Investment Committee report, monthly management account and MPR, quarterly fund performance report, Half yearly client report and the annual audit.
• Preparation of the Global Investment Performance Standard (GIPS) compliant report.
• Should be able to fully stand-in for the Fund Accountant.

Secondary Role:

• Should be able to fully stand-in for the Treasury officer.
• Other duties that may be assigned by the Fund Accountant or CFO.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• 2-4 years of experience as an Accountant.
