Roomy is a new product that helps people find safe, verified rooms and compatible flatmates. We combine real listing checks, identity verification and AI matching so renters spend less time scrolling and more time moving into the right place.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Location: Nigeria
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

  • The Digital Marketing Specialist will plan and execute marketing campaigns that attract new users, improve conversion funnels and promote Roomy’s features and services to existing users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns to drive user sign ups and platform growth.
  • Create campaigns for renters, landlords, agents and hosts across social media, email, paid ads and other channels.
  • Improve user funnels from awareness to sign up, activation and engagement.
  • Promote Roomy features such as listings, messaging, priority listing and other user services.
  • Create content for social media, email campaigns, landing pages and promotional materials.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide clear reports on results, insights and recommendations.
  • Support re engagement campaigns for inactive users and feature adoption campaigns for existing users.
  • Identify growth opportunities through partnerships, communities, SEO and paid campaigns.

Success Measures

  • Growth in new sign ups.
  • Improved conversion from visitors to registered users.
  • Increased user engagement and feature adoption.
  • More active landlords, agents, hosts and renters on the platform.
  • Improved performance from email, social and paid campaigns.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, social media or performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of user acquisition, conversion funnels and campaign management.
  • Experience with social media, email marketing and paid advertising.
  • Good copywriting skills and ability to communicate clearly to different user groups.
  • Ability to track campaign performance and make data driven decisions.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Brevo, Canva or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and bring fresh ideas to grow the platform.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience marketing a property, rental, marketplace or consumer app.
  • Experience working with startups or early stage products.
  • Knowledge of SEO, influencer marketing or community growth.
  • Understanding of tools such as PostHog, Mixpanel or other product analytics platforms.
