We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

• The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, and performance of the Bank's digital products and technology platforms.
• The role will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to identify defects, improve user experiences, and support the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Testing:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate product features against business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.

Product Quality Management:

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Ensure all releases meet quality standards before deployment.
• Verify bug fixes and enhancements.

Automation Testing:

• Support the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
• Develop and execute automated test scripts where applicable.
• Improve testing efficiency through automation.

Performance & User Experience Testing:

• Conduct performance, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Evaluate system behavior under different scenarios.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience across digital channels.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed testing documentation.
• Generate quality reports and testing metrics.
• Provide recommendations for product improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in software quality assurance or software testing.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automation testing tools.
• API testing experience.
• Understanding of digital banking or fintech products.
• SQL and database testing knowledge.

Salary
N350,000 - N500,000 monthly.
