AMSCO HR Services Limited - Our client, a Resort, is a 65-acre facility with over 15 restaurant outlets, receiving an estimated 10,000 visitors monthly and generating over 1 million monthly engagements across its social media platforms. The brand also has franchise operations in Ondo and Taraba States, with expansion projects underway in Ethiopia, Ghana, and the Caribbean.

Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager

Location: Ajah, Lagos

About the Role

• We are therefore seeking a highly experienced Food and Beverage Manager with the capacity to effectively manage and scale our existing infrastructure in line with our growth trajectory.

Requirements
Educational Qualification / Certification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration (with hospitality focus) or relevant degree
• A Master’s Degree (MBA or Hospitality Management) — added advantage, especially for:
• Professional Certifications (highly desirable):
• Food Safety & Hygiene Certification (HACCP, ISO 22000)
• Certified Food & Beverage Executive (CFBE) or equivalent
• Health & Safety Certification
• Hospitality or Culinary certifications

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience managing Restaurants, bars, lounges, beach outlets, and event catering
• 5–7 years in a senior leadership role (Head of F&B / F&B Manager)in a 4 -5 STAR resort/hotel
• Experience in Resort or eco-tourism environment (preferred)
• 3 Experience overseeing multi-outlet or resort-style operations
• Hands-on experience:Creating and implementing SOPs and driving compliance across kitchens and bars
• Experience conducting , Operational audits and Quality assurance checks
• Strong understanding of:Kitchen workflows and staffing, Food costing and portion control and Inventory and waste management
• Experience achieving:Food cost within 28–35% range and Low food waste (≤ 2%
• Ability to maintain consistent taste, quality, and presentation
• Proven experience managing:Bar operations, cocktail standardization, beverage costing
• Knowledge of:Beverage inventory systems, alcohol compliance and responsible service
• Ability to Develop innovative African-inspired beverage concepts
• Strong background in:Budgeting and financial reporting, Gross profit management, Inventory turnover and procurement
• Experience designing:African heritage cuisine + international menus
• Ability to Align menus with brand identity, Introduce quarterly innovations
• Strong background in Training design and delivery, Staff coaching and mentoring
• Strong track record of Delivering high guest satisfaction (≥4.2 rating)
• Managing complaints and service recovery
• Experience using:Guest feedback systems (TripAdvisor, Google, internal reviews)
• Deep appreciation for:African culture, cuisine, and hospitality philosophy
• Ability to Translate African heritage into Food presentation, Service style and Guest experience
• Experience in Resort or eco-tourism environment (preferred)

Salary
N700,000 - N1,200,000 monthly.
