Job Title: Maintenance Officer (Electrical)

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary 

• The Maintenance Officer (Electrical) is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery, lighting systems, power distribution systems, and control panels.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Monitor electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers when necessary.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support facility maintenance activities as required.
• Identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions to prevent equipment failure

• Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.

Working Conditions:

• May require working shifts, weekends, or responding to emergency call-outs.
• Involves working with electrical equipment, machinery, and facility infrastructure.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

Salary
N70,000 – N80,000 per month.
