Job Title: Quality and HSE Officer

Location: Agbara, Ogun

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality & HSE Officer to ensure compliance with quality standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental requirements within our operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring processes, conducting inspections, promoting a safety culture, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Management:

• Conduct routine quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Monitor production and operational processes to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate quality-related complaints and non-conformities and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification exercises.
• Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
• Organize HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees.
• Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
• Monitor waste management and environmental compliance activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Chemistry, Safety Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or HSE functions.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and workplace safety regulations.
• Professional certifications such as HSE Level 1, 2 & 3, NEBOSH, IOSH, or related certifications are an advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
