Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale building and structural construction projects.
• The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional building projects from inception to completion.
• This role requires strong leadership, project management expertise, stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of building and structural construction projects.
• Manage site-based teams, including Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Supervisors, and Subcontractors.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
• Drive adherence to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) standards across all project activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage subcontractor performance, project variations, claims, and contract administration activities.
• Review and approve project reports, work programs, procurement schedules, and technical submissions.
• Ensure proper project documentation, testing, commissioning, handover, and close-out procedures.
• Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to project teams to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc. / B.Eng. / HND) in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years' proven construction experience, with substantial experience managing large-scale building projects.
• Demonstrated experience delivering residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, or institutional developments.
• Professional certifications such as COREN, PMP, MNSE, NIOB, ARCON, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project controls, contract administration, and construction regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and cost control.
• Proficiency in project management and reporting tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, Revit, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams and deliver results in a fast-paced construction environment.
