We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Truck Technician & Engineer

Locations: Akwa Ibom , Delta & Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• A Truck Technician/Engineer is responsible for ensuring that trucks and heavy-duty vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating efficiently.

Core Responsibilities
Inspection and Diagnosis:

• Conduct routine inspections of trucks and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical,hydraulic, and pneumatic faults using diagnostic tools.

Preventive Maintenance:

• Perform scheduled maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and component checks.
• Ensure vehicles meet manufacturer and company maintenance standards.

Repair and Troubleshooting:

• Repair or replace defective components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, steering systems, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot complex faults to minimize vehicle downtime.

Engine and Transmission Maintenance:

• Service and overhaul diesel engines and transmission systems.
• Carry out adjustments and calibrations as required.

Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure vehicles comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-repair inspections.

Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective actions.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical guidance to operators and drivers on proper vehicle usage and basic maintenance practices.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for technical issues and spare parts requirements.

• Man
• Schackman
• Mercedes
• Sino Trucks.

Acdemin Qualification

• Engineers: B.Eng, B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering
• Technicians: SSCE, Trade test 1, 2, 3

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 10 in a related role.
